This is a very pretty pair of earrings composed of a peacock colored freshwater pearl
Earring stud with three sterling silver concentric rings dangling underneath. The “black” color of these 8mm button-shaped freshwater pearls is not natural. These are color-enhanced pearls but the look is terrific. The pearls display shades of purple and blue depending on the angle of view. The three rings, one inside the other, are 6, 11.5 and 16.5mm respectively. The distance from the top of the pearl to the bottom of the largest ring is approximately 1.5 inches.
These are really appealing earrings the combine naturally golden colored mother-of-pearl from gold-lipped oyster shells with white freshwater pearls and the look is spectacular. The white 7-8mm button-shaped pearls are opposite the post and underneath dangles a golden tear-drop-shaped mother of pearl framed in sterling silver. The earrings have plenty of movement and color to create a dazzling look.
In some ways this earring design is kind of the inverse of the Doreen Earring in that the triangular shaped white mother of pearl is fixed at the ear-post and dangling underneath is a pink drop-shaped freshwater pearl. Both the mother-of-pearl and the pearl are natural colored. The pink and white will go with many freshwater pearl necklaces or bracelets. These are earrings that are bound to get plenty of use and work with many outfits and many other pieces of jewelry. The earrings are made of sterling silver that has been rhodium plated for tarnish-free use. Freshwater pearls like these represent a wonderful value. For the price you can’t go wrong.
