This is necklace is wonderfully unusual. It’s focal point is the sterling silver sign of the ancient Tahitian tribes set with a gorgeous 10.5-11mm Tahitian black pearl at it’s center. Supporting the emblem of the tribes are two leather cords with silver clasp and sliders. The necklace is nearly 18” long and looks equally great on either men or women. This necklace is part of Tahizea’s Kanao (Tribal) Collection. This, and all other pieces in the Tahizea Collection are designed and crafted in Tahiti by the owners of the farms from which the pearls come. The styling blends traditional Tahitian themes with the design sense that only the French can offer and the result is ours to enjoy.
This leather cord necklace is wonderfully simple. A Tahitian black pearl on a leather cord held in place by two knots. This necklace is a celebration of the pearl. That’s it, nothing to distract, nothing to compete, only the pearl in all its lustrous, iridescent beauty. The necklace has a sterling silver clasp along with two sliding knots that allow for the adjustment of the necklace length between 16.5” and 20.5” The pearl is 11-11.5mm in size and of a greenish color.
This necklace (like AVAE hoe) features the pearl. However in this case there is the subtle addition of the emblem of the tribes to the right of the knot holding the pearl in place. This is a simple necklace that features the pearl with little else to compete for your attention. Tahitian pearls are, after all, worthy of our full attention and appreciation. What more is needed? The necklace has a sterling silver clasp along with two sliding knots that allow for the adjustment of the necklace length between 16.5” and 20.5”. The pearl is 11-11.5mm in size and of a greenish color.
