This 17.5” (44cm) Tahitian “black” pearl necklace has 34 Tahitian pearls and 22 sterling silver spacers. The pearls range in diameter from 9.5mm to 12mm with the average being around 10mm. The length of these generally oval shaped pearls vary around 12mm. These pearls are generally baroque (irregular) oval-like in shape with pronounced circlé which gives many Tahitian pearls a unique and characteristic look. The color of these pearls is generally classified as “peacock”, meaning that they display multiple colors including; green, aubergine (purplish), silver, copper, and black.
