This is a striking and unusual Tahitian pearl ring. Not only is the design novel and interesting with an 6 diamonds individually displayed in a nonsymmetrical array, but the gold setting is 18k Rose Gold with a copper hue which against the green Tahitian pearl is magical. The stones are colorless (D) .135 gm diamonds and really add a lot of pizzazz to this ring.
Tahitan pearls have been growing in popularity for a number of years due to their exotic look and, often, dramatic colors. Tahitian beauties like this one are the result of a process that takes many years from the growth of baby oysters into mature, healthy specimens perfect for pearl cultivation. A highly technical surgical procedure performed on the oyster called enucleation. Then the pearl development cycle which generally takes 2-3 years. From this process, maybe only 10 to 15% of the harvest is of a quality comparable to this pearl. The name "Faye" given to this ring means; "Fairy". This ring, like all our rings is size 7.
