For those who prefer a shorter necklace, the HEIMITI Necklace provides the answer. This necklace is like the longer TOPARA nui Necklace only shorter. Thirty-one 9-10mm Tahitian pearls grace this necklace. The clasp like those used on all the TOPARA necklace and bracelet is style after the “motu” or small islets and atolls of French Polynesia. Slide the two rings together at the point where two narrow slits in each ring meet. This necklace is 15” (38mm) so that it hugs close to the neck. Pearls are unique, each one a distinct individual. The pearls in your piece may not match exactly the pearls shown in the photography. Consistent with the current fashion trend, the pearls chosen for this piece will always be un-matching.
This is one of Soraya’s most dramatic and wonderful earring designs. Dangling on a silver chain from a Cubic Zirconium stone opposite the ear post are three silver rings. One is crusted in CZ stones giving the whole earring an appealing sparkle. Reaching nearly 6.5cm from the ear-post and dangling at the bottom is an 8-9mm Tahitian black pearl. Two of the rings are concentric and the third (top ring) passes through the center of the inside ring. The design is interesting and attractive.
This stunning 16 inch black pearl necklace features 8-9mm semi-baroque pearls of various colors ranging from shades of green to silver and grey with some having hints of purple (aubergine) and copper. The stylish clasp, made of gold-plated sterling silver, is not only very attractive but very secure and easy to get on and off. Tahitian cultured pearls are grown in black-lip oysters (Pinctada Margaritifera) in the pristine blue lagoons of the atolls in the Gambier and Tuamotu archipelago. The process requires constant vigilance and is fraught with risk. Only a relatively small percentage of the oysters make it to adulthood, survive the cultivation process and produce a high-quality pearl. These rare beauties are truly a gift from God.
