ADELE Earring™
ADELE Earring™
Retail Price : $ 98.00 Our Price : $ 49.95
These 9x9.5mm oval shaped, natural colored, freshwater pearls dangle from 18k gold hooks. Simple and classic. The name Adele means; "Noble" a fitting description for these large and very nice naturally colored freshwater pearls. Freshwater pearls differ from other cultured pearls in couple of important ways. For one thing they come from freshwater mussels rather than saltwater oysters. They are composed entirely of nacre, the layers of iridescent shell-like material that the mollusk lays down around a foreign object. By being composed entirely of nacre, freshwater pearls have a durability that should make them last for many years. The amazingly low cost of freshwater pearls is a function of the fact that a number of pearls can be cultured within the same mollusk at one time. This significantly adds to the cost-efficiencies and reduces production costs.
