This wonderful bracelet is like three MANAHERE bracelets joined together. It is made with three separate flexible black-rubber bracelets each with it’s own 9-10mm Tahitian black pearl framed in by two silver beads. The bracelets all pass through matching silver beads that are joined thus tying the bracelets together into one dazzling bangle bracelet. The ends of the flexible rubber bracelets are capped with a small silver bead except one end which has a mother-of-pearl disk bearing the mark of “Soraya” the beautiful and talented Tahitian designer of this piece. This bracelet naturally closes down to a circular size approximately 4.5cm across allowing it to fit small wrists and it expands to will fit any wrist size up to approximately 7cm across. The name of this bracelet; “Mareva” in Tahitian, means; “Canoes bringing presents from one island to another”. This is another spectacular bracelet of 14 Tahitian black pearls. The clasp on this bracelet is inspired by the shape of a Tahitian atoll (motu) as is depicted in more detail in the MOTU collection from Tahizea. The clasp works by sliding the rings together at the point of two slits in the rings. The bracelet measures 7.8” (20cm) and the pearls are strung with knots between them for security and to reduce wear.
