Here are a few tips to keep your pearls looking good for a lifetime.

• Wipe your pearls after use with a moist cloth. 
• Do not subject your pearls to chemicals.
• Put your pearls on after applying your perfume, cosmetics or hair spray.  Don't swim in chlorinated pools with your pearls on.
• Do not clean your pearls in ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
• Pearls are relatively soft. Do not subject them to scratching by harder objects.  Store your pearls separately from your other jewelry or place your pearls in a soft silk pouch when stored with other jewelry.
• If you wear your stringed pearls regulary, have them re-strung every year.
